About this scholarship
The DAAD EPOS scholarship supports professionals from developing and newly industrialised countries to study development-related master’s courses at German universities. It is offered by the German Academic Exchange Service across a wide list of participating programmes.
The award is fully funded, covering a monthly stipend, travel, health insurance, and tuition where applicable, noting that most German public universities charge little or no tuition. Each course sets its own deadline, with most falling between August and November 2026 for study beginning in 2027. Applicants usually need at least two years of relevant work experience.
